Philautia My project ‘Philautia’ focuses on my journey to self-love and self-acceptance through self-portrait collages. I created this project as a way of overcoming previous fears with self-portraits that have affected my self-esteem, the self-portraits will have a fashion editorial feelto them as a way of connecting my love for fashion photography to self portrait photography. Alongside the self-portraits, I wanted to challenge myself creatively by creating collages. Each collage represents a positive feeling or emotion that I have experienced since facing the various challenges I have experienced as a photographer and as a woman.
